I’m having major issues with using the Sametime screen capture tool on Vista (I’m on Notes 8.0.1 Standard on Microsoft Vista Ultimate). The tool works but it’s like the cursor is “stuck” somehow and the selection tool is very sluggish. Wierd!
The *very* wierd thing is that it works much better when the tool is started from the sidebar plug-in Connect client than from an active chat. Not perfect like on Windows XP but much better. Go figure!
Update: Now it’s also sluggish from the sidebar…
Hi Mikkel, I am also on Lotus Notes 8.0.1 Standard on Microsoft Vista Ultimate – and I have no problems using screen capture. Let me know if you need me to do a test for you.
Let me assume you’re also on a Lenovo laptop. Which one are you using? I’m thinking it might have something to do with the video driver I use.
Just for the record I’m on a Lenovo Thinkpad T61p running Vista Ultimate. Video driver is "NVIDIA Quadro FX 570M" driver version 7.15.11.155.
Updated the video driver to the latest version (v. 7.15.11.7431 / 22-Feb-2008) without any improvements to the screen capture performance… 🙁
Actually, I am running the 8.0.1/Vista combination on my private Zepto laptop. I run XP on my IBM Thinkpad T60.
