Installing TDI v. 7.1 on Windows Server 2012

Trying to install IBM Tivoli Directory Integrator (TDI) v. 7.1 for IBM Connections on Windows Server 2012 I got the following error:

ZeroGu2: Windows DLL failed to load
	at ZeroGa2.b(DashoA10*..)
	at ZeroGa2.b(DashoA10*..)
	at com.zerog.ia.installer.LifeCycleManager.b(DashoA10*..)
	at com.zerog.ia.installer.LifeCycleManager.a(DashoA10*..)
	at com.zerog.ia.installer.Main.main(DashoA10*..)
	at sun.reflect.NativeMethodAccessorImpl.invoke0(Native Method)
	at sun.reflect.NativeMethodAccessorImpl.invoke(Unknown Source)
	at sun.reflect.DelegatingMethodAccessorImpl.invoke(Unknown Source)
	at java.lang.reflect.Method.invoke(Unknown Source)
	at com.zerog.lax.LAX.launch(DashoA10*..)
	at com.zerog.lax.LAX.main(DashoA10*..)

Solution was to right click the installer and set compatibility mode to Windows 7.

Please note that you need to restart the server after you change the compatibility mode.

Great tip! – I also find that the compatibility mode only makes it work on the windows_x86_64install_tdiv711_win_x86_64.exe file, not on the launchpad.exe file

And no need for reboot. Thanks for this information guys.
