Anyone running mod_jk with Domino 7?

A while back I used the mod_jk DSAPI filter to use Domino as a web server for a Tomcat behind it and it worked fine. Anyone using that setup on Domino 7 today?

If you are do you have a binary version? If you do please let me have it! ๐Ÿ™‚

  1. No unfortunately that’s only the isapi (Microsoft IIS) and nsapi (??) filters. You have to compile the Domino version yourself unless I can find an older version / binary version… ๐Ÿ™‚

  2. Hello,

I hope it’s not too late for this response.

I used this http://free.tagish.net/domino-tomcat/index.jsp Domino-Tomcat Redirector on my recent project. It works flawlessly on Domino 7 + Tomcat 5.5.

I hope you will find this information helpful, because I found your blog to be a unique and invaluable source of information, especially regarding Domino + Java (JVM instances, classloading, external libraries…).

P.S. Did you ever experience that JavaUserClassesEx Notes.ini variable masks (hides) the classpath set in JavaUserClasses variable?

  3. Any chance you could send me the binary version of the filter as I’m unable to locate it on the web. I can find the source but not the binary DSAPI filter. Please send it to mh [at] intravision.dk if possible.

As to the JavaUserClassesExt then yes – I believe it is either/or.
